VGA 是 Video Graphics Adapter(Array) 的縮寫，VESA 是 Video Electronics Standards Association 的縮寫，DDC 是 Display Data Channel 的縮寫，信號類型為模擬類型，顯示卡端的接口為 15 針母插座：
